The 20FT
Apple Cabin for North America is the UL-listed, CSA-certified,
ICC-ES evaluated variant engineered specifically for the US and Canadian
markets. Every electrical component carries UL listing (US) or CSA
certification (Canada). The structure is ICC-ES evaluated for IBC/IRC building
code compliance, with documentation accepted by building departments across all
50 states and Canadian provinces. The cabin arrives 120V/60Hz ready with NEMA
5-15 outlets, hurricane-rated for Gulf Coast deployment (150 mph), and
snow-load rated for Canadian winters (≥2.5 kN/m²). Ship it to any US or
Canadian port, pull a permit with confidence, and pass inspection the first
time.
Built on the proven 20FT Apple Cabin steel-frame platform, the North America variant adds market-specific certifications and climate adaptations: UL-listed electrical system (UL 61439 panel, UL 508A controls, NEMA 5-15 outlets), CSA-certified version for Canadian customers (CSA C22.2 standards), ICC-ES evaluation report for structural code compliance, hurricane-rated option (Miami-Dade NOA / Florida Building Code, 150 mph wind), snow-load upgrade (roof rated to 2.5 kN/m² for Canadian/northern US winters), ADA-compliant door option, and bilingual documentation (English/Spanish for US, English/French for Canada). Whether deployed as a backyard ADU in California, a hurricane-rated cabin in Florida, or a snow-country guest house in Ontario, the Apple Cabin for North America is built to meet — and exceed — local codes.

Q:
Can I get a building permit for this in my US state?
The Apple Cabin for North America includes an ICC-ES
evaluation report (ESR), which is accepted by building departments in all 50 US
states for IBC/IRC compliance. For structures under 200 sq ft (18.6 m²), most
states don't require a permit at all. For ADU use (California, Oregon, etc.),
we provide the full permit package: ICC-ES report, UL listings, structural
drawings, and site plans. Always check with your local AHJ (Authority Having
Jurisdiction) — we provide everything they need.
Q:
Can I use this as an Airbnb rental in the US?
Yes. With UL-listed electrical, ICC-ES structural
compliance, and permitted ADU status (in most states), the Apple Cabin meets
short-term rental requirements. Many owners list on Airbnb/VRBO from day one.
Always verify local STR (Short-Term Rental) ordinances — some cities require
additional STR permits. ROI typically 10–18 months depending on location and
nightly rate ($120–$300/night in most US markets).
Q:
What is the MOQ and delivery time?
MOQ: 1 unit (retail) / 5 units (distributor). Production: 25–30 working days. Ocean shipping: 2–4 weeks (US West Coast), 4–6 weeks (US East Coast / Canada). Inland delivery: 3–7 days. Volume discounts for 10+ units. US/Canada warranty and local service included.
